RoHS Compliance
Lumberg, Inc. is striving to meet the requirements of the EU 2002/95/EG directive known as RoHS (Restrictions on Hazardous Substances). Lumberg Inc is working with its suppliers and other Lumberg companies to offer RoHS compliant products on a global basis. The company is now in the process of changing to lead-free soldering and evaluating our raw material inventory. Lumberg, Inc. will be shipping some products that are RoHS compliant as early as the summer of 2005 with full implementation prior to the European deadline of July 1 2006. We are responding to specific customer requests to supply RoHS compliant product ahead of the July 1, 2006 European implementation date.
